Carol has 17 years of experience working in the conservation sector. She started her focus in planning and development control, where she protects habitats and species. She then moved towards field surveying, concentrating on botany and habitat classification. Her expertise lies in pre and post-intervention biodiversity net gain assessments, specialising in grassland restoration.

Carol has a personal interest in parkland and ancient trees and their ecology, and more recently in gaining skills in Bryophyte identification.
